Lean business on grain market

Mixed trends were seen on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in the process of moderate trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab was lower by Rs 125 to Rs 10375, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said. On the grams sector, grams Australia No 1 was down by Rs 100 to Rs 7700, gram Dall Australia No 2 fell by Rs 150 to Rs 9300, yellow peas Russian, however, gained Rs 150 to Rs 3975 and yellow peas Dall Russia also picked up by Rs 50 to Rs 4400, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was down by Rs 39 to Rs 2970 and the good type fell by Rs 25 to Rs 3025, other items maintained overnight levels, Irri-white low type was down by Rs 100 to Rs 2600 and best quality was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 2700, they said. On the seeds side, cotton seeds oilcake with bag Sindh new drifted lower by Rs 25 to Rs 2000 and Rs 2050, they added.
