Major-General Bilal Akbar, director general of Sindh Ranges, dispelled the impression that ongoing targeted operation in Karachi is losing its pace.
"If there are fewer terrorists, there will be less action from Rangers," he said, according to AAj News.
The DG Rangers made these remarks said while speaking to media persons after taking part in a jeep rally at Nooriabad area of Hub on Sunday.
"We are trying our level best to secure the future of our children in Sindh particularly in Karachi," DG Rangers said.
"The participation of such a large numbers of people in jeep rally reflects the restoration of peace in Karachi," he said.
To a question, he said that there was no truth in impression that the targeted operation had slowed down in Karachi.
Earlier, Major-General Bilal Akbar drove 32 kilometres of distance in 22 minutes.
