Chancellor of Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET), Jawaid Anwar has said that according to the contemporary demands, new courses and technologies including BBA, MBA and Management Courses for Engineers will be introduced soon and Sir Syed University has the authority as per Charter to launch new courses and technologies at the campus.
Sir Syed University is the first in Pakistan who began the discipline of Biomedical Engineering and during last few years, 4 new technologies like Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, Architecture and Electrical Engineering took start. He pointed out that a large number of graduates are getting benefitted by the short certificate courses of Project Management Professionals, Web Engineering, PHP MySQL, Graphic Designing & Web Designing etc which are already being run by Continuing Education Programme of Sir Syed University in the evening, and Bachelor and Master's programmes in near future are under consideration.
Regarding Admission policy, Chancellor Jawaid Anwar said "Admission process is going through the last phase and the merit list has been issued in time due to our hard efforts and admissions have been successfully done on pure merit through a transparent procedure." Talking about admission policy, Chancellor Jawaid Anwar said Admission process will be complete according to the schedule on 8th January after which new academic session will start.
