Violating discipline in LB polls: ECP de-seats PTI councillor

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday disqualified Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) female councillor Uzma Bashir for violating party's rules and discipline during local bodies' election. According to details, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sardar Raza presided a meeting in Islamabad. During the meeting, PTI officials put forward their case, stating that councillor from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Uzma Bashir cast her vote in the favour of other candidate instead of party's own for chairmanship post in recent LB polls which against the law.
