The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the date for filing of tax returns for 2015 up to November 30. In this regard, the FBR has issued circular here on Saturday. As per FBR, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, the FBR has extended the date of filing of returns for 2015 as under:
Firstly, the date of filing of income tax returns of final taxation which was due on September 30, 2015 (already extended to October 31,) for individuals and Associations of Persons is hereby further extended to November 30. Secondly, the date of filing of returns of total income/statement of final taxation which was due on August 31, 2015, (already extended to October 31) is hereby further extended to November 30. Thirdly, the date of filing of returns of total income/statements of final taxation of companies whose tax year ends between July 01, 2014 to December 31, 2014 due on September 30, 2015 (already extended to October 31,) is hereby further extended up to November 30, FBR added.
