Lean business on grain market

Lean business was witnessed on the local grain market on Saturday due to lack of interest, dealer said. On the cereals side, wheat new bardan lost Rs 75 to Rs 2475, other commodities sustained overnight levels, they said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was unchanged at Rs 2750 while the best variety was lower to Rs 2770, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new inferior type was higher by Rs 30 to Rs 1980 and the best quality also picked up Rs 50 to Rs 2100, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams sector, they said.
