Regional peace, war on terror: Turkish President and Prime Minister praise Pakistan's role

Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Raheel Sharif separately called on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu here on Tuesday. During the meeting both the Turkish leaders appreciated Pakistan role for regional peace and Pakistan Army's contributions in defeating terrorism. The Turkish leaders emphasised fraternal ties between the two brotherly nations. The CoAS assured Turkish leadership and brotherly people total support in handling their security challenges.
General Raheel Sharif also called on Defence Minister, Chief of General Staff separately and expressed satisfaction on defence co-operation. Both sides vowed to further enhance defence collaboration.
