District administration Swat organised a walk to create awareness against Congo virus in district. Deputy Commissioner (DC), Mahmood Aslam Wazir led the walk started from Gulkada and culminated at Makan Bagh Square.
Addressing the participants of the walk, Deputy Commissioner said that Congo Virus spreads due to the biting of ticks grown in the skin of cattle. The besides cattle, the biting by the ticks also affected humans.
