The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has on Monday released the schedule for the third phase of local body elections in Punjab and Sindh. Polling will be held on December 3 in 12 districts of Punjab and six districts of Sindh. According to the schedule, polling will be held in six districts of Sindh and 12 districts of Punjab on December 3. The nomination papers will be submitted to the Election Commission between October 3 and 7, scrutiny of the papers will be done from October 8 to 13, while the appeals will be heard till October 30. The candidates will be able to withdraw their papers on November 6.
