Security guards: 'Tevta to launch training course from October'

Chairperson of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) Irfan Qaiser Sheikh has said that Tevta is launching three-month course from next month to train unemployed youth as security guards. "This course will conduct at Government College of Technology Raiwind Road and Government Technical Training Institute Gulberg as pilot project after which this course will also be introduced across the Punjab," he said.
He stated this while addressing a meeting regarding launching of this course on Friday at Tevta Secretariat. Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi, Tevta officers Abdul Qayyum, Engr Azhar Iqbal Shad, Akhtar Abbas Bharwana, Haroon Naseer, Mustafa Kamal Pasha, Sarfraz Anwar, Amer Hasan, Maqsood Ahmad and others attended the meeting.
