Activists of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) on Friday staged a demonstration against India and burnt an effigy of Indian Dalbir Singh to express their anger on Indian aggression, unprovoked firing and shelling across the line of control. The demo was led by Habib Ahmed Ansari President of APML (Youth Wing) Multan district. Activists of APML along with a large number of citizens took part in the protest.
Holding placards and banners, they raised slogans in favour of the Pakistan Army and former President General Pervez Musharraf (Retd). They burnt the effigy of Indian Army Chief of Army Staff Dalbir Singh. Speaking on the occasion, APML-leaders said that the protest was not limited to burning effigies of Indian leaders, as we would fight shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army for the defence of our country.
They warned India not to irk the brave Pakistanis. He said that Indian aggression had claimed lives of ten Pakistanis the other day, while more than 40 others, including women and children, were injured. They said that Pakistani politicians and political parties despite their differences were united for the defence of the nation and country. We are always on the same page when it comes to defending Pakistan, they said.
