Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan on Thursday. Deputy Director General (Regulatory) CAA Manzar Jamal Siddiqui and President ICMAP Kashif Mateen Ansari signed the MoU.
CAA shall offer the paid internship opportunities to registered students of ICMAP. Internships are aimed to bring in the innovative ideas and new approach to organisational issues and on the other hand offer practical skills, experience and exposure to the workplace dynamics to the internees. This increases their chances of employability in future, whereas organisations benefit from the fresh ideas of youth.
This MoU being a first of its kind involving a public sector organisation in Pakistan is a milestone for both CAA and ICMAP through which professional environment inductive of learning to the students of ICMAP in an organisation which is unmatched and incomparable in all aspects and has so much to offer to the learners.
By this the students shall not only be able to learn in a congenial environment but also practice their skills in a continually improving organisation. This will also assist CAA in enhancing and refining its available expertise in the relevant field. CAA by this MoU shall obtain the required professional corroboration from ICMA Pakistan for capacity building of its finance professionals enabling them to learn the best practices in cost and management accountancy.
