The CDA Chairman had assured the committee to submit demand note of Sui Northern Gas Limited (SNGPL) till July 15, 2015 for providing gas to I-16 Sector Islamabad, but the demand note was not submitted by the CDA. When Chairman Committee Agha Shahbaz Khan Durrani inquired from the CDA Chairman Maroof Afzal why demand note was not submitted in spite of assurance to the committee. When the chairman asked the SNGPL official that his department has written any letter to the CDA for increasing the price of gas, the Chairman also said that a copy of letter and cheque should presented to the committee, but he could not produce the same.
