Sabrina a Pakistani origin and British citizen has demanded of government and police high ups to help them in retrieving of their ancestral lands from her uncle Saleh Khan, residing in Cherat District Nowshera, whose illegal occupied the property. Speaking at a news conference here Press Club on Monday, she said that her paternal uncle Mukarram Khan had occupied illegally his brothers and sisters' lands including her father, which had already been divided by her grandfather Ghaibi Khan among his sons and daughters in the village in his life.
She alleged that her uncle was giving threats through their relatives and other ways not to pay even a visit to Cherat and if they did so, dire consequences, they would have to face. Accompanied by her father and other uncle Muhammad Tariq Khan and Samiullah Khan, she said that they along with other family members had come from United Kingdom to celebrate the August 14, 2015 in their village but when they had gone there and no sooner did, they knocked at the door, her uncle and his family members started pelting them with stones aimed at compelling them to flee.
The grabbed lands, she informed that were measuring millions of rupees, which were the property of six brothers and two sisters, while her uncle Mukarram Khan was senior to all of the rest, who is also British citizen like other family members, spends most of his time in his village, of which he took disadvantage of staying in Saleh Khana.
Ms Sabrina claimed that she had requested Pakistani and British embassies even governments of Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to help them but no response from them till now in this regard. She, therefore, demanded of the KP Inspector General of Police (IGP) Nasir Khan Durrani and provincial government to retrieve their lands from Mukarram Khan and take action against him. The PTI government believes in justice, should provide them justice in getting repossession of the grabbed lands, failing which they would be compelled to move the court.
