ISE index gains 17.57 points

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Tuesday, where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favorite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 17.57 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,424.01 to 3,441.58 points. The overall turnover amounted to 561,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 48,200 shares.
Total 154 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks 86 closed in positive territory, (68) closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of Bank of Punjab was 241,000 shares. The volume of NIB Bank was 200,000 shares. The turnover of Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 62,000 shares.
