Zardari asks party leaders to reach out to people affected by floods in Chitral

Former President Asif Ali Zardari and Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Tuesday expressed profound grief over loss of precious lives and damages to property in flash floods in Chitral. In a message issued here by PPP Media Office, he directed provincial chapter of the party to reach out to the flood victims and assist them in rehabilitation.
He also called for taking urgent steps to alleviate the sufferings of the people and to restore Chitral's links with the rest of the country. Zardari condoled with the bereaved families over the death of their loved ones and prayed for eternal rest to those who lost their lives in the calamity.
