For the first time, Pakistan was represented prestigious ATRS World Conference 2015. Dr Wali Mughni, PhD who is also the Dean and Director of the Institute of Business Administration and Aviation Sciences (IBAAS) located at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi attended the conference by representing Pakistan.
Dr Mughni, who specialises in Aviation Management read his paper on "Pakistan's National Aviation Policy 2015: An Unprecedented Opportunity for Global and Regional Aviation Business Entrepreneurs." The paper as well as the participation from Pakistan was applauded by the audience as the President of ATRS Professor. After the conference, Dr Mughni commented that it is indeed an honour for Pakistan to be a part of such an elite group of aviation specialists and academicians who are regarded as the think tanks in the aviation world. Pakistan now joins the rank of top researchers and academicians in the field of aviation and aerospace. Collaboration with academic leaders and advanced education in the discipline of Aviation Management in particular, Dr Mughni said this is a pressing need for Pakistan's Aviation industry. The conference was attended by over 300 representatives from over 26 countries. The 19th ATRS World Conference was jointly organised by Singapore Airlines and National University of Singapore. The conference was held in Singapore from July 2 to 5.-PR
