Former Federal Minister and Pakistan Peoples' Party leader Nazar Muhammad Gondal on Tuesday phoned Manzoor Wattoo, declaring his commitment to the party and the leadership. He claimed that he had hardly any intention of quitting the party as reported in the press and that he would continue to strive for the promotion of politics of people and their empowerment which was the cornerstone of the party ideology. Party Chief Wattoo also made a phone call to former Federal Minister Samsam Ali Bukhari the same day to discuss party matters with the latter claiming he too had hardly any intention of leaving the party despite pressure.
