As many as twelve persons were killed and eight seriously injured when a passenger van collided with a truck near here on Thursday. According to FC sources, a loaded truck collided head on with a passenger wagon in Khad Koocha locality of Mastung area of Balochistan. Twelve persons died on the spot and eight critically injured were rushed to civil hospital for medical aid.
Sources said that the passenger van was badly damaged and some of the bodies were pulled out after cutting the body of the van. The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital where according to medics condition of some wounded people was serious and it was feared that death toll could rise further.
