On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 1.955 billion. The number of lots traded was 10,881. PMEX Commodity Index increased by 0.14 percent and closed at 2,714. Major business was contributed by crude oil amounting to PKR 1.071 billion followed by gold (PKR 852 million), silver (PKR 28 million) and cotton (PKR 3.9 million).
