Fakhar Zaman thanks ‘PM Imran Khan’ for his greetings
Pakistan’s versatile opener Fakhar Zaman has thanked the upcoming Prime Minister Imran Khan for wishing him on his double ton.
The 28-year-old left-hander became the first Pakistan batsman to score a double century in One-day Internationals (ODI). On his marvelous achievement, cricketers from across the globe praised him that includes Imran Khan as well.
"Congratulations to Fakhar Zaman for becoming the first Pakistani to score a double century in One Day cricket," Imran had tweeted when Fakhar made the new achievement.

However, according to Fakhar, he had not been active on Twitter and saw Imran's tweet after the general elections ended. "Using twitter after months and I see a tweet from to be honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan. The great Imran Khan congratulating me for my double ton. Mr. Prime Minister thank you and I congratulate you and feel proud to say that Imran Khan is PM of my beloved Pakistan,” he tweeted.

Fakhar, who had a great tour of Zimbabwe, broke several world records including highest opening stand of over 300 runs with Imam ul Haq during the tour.
