The coalition Balochistan government has decided to move no confidence motion against Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali to remove him from his office. This was announced by Provincial Information Minister, Abdul Raheem Ziaratwal after the meeting of the provincial cabinet held, here on Thursday. He said "The meeting of the provincial cabinet lasted for six hours which unanimously approved the decision of the cabinet to move no confidence motion against Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali during the ongoing session of the Provincial Assembly."
He said that provincial cabinet also approved other decisions and bills including Balochistan Sound System (Regulation) Bill 2015, Balochistan Protection of Witness Bill 2015, Balochistan Sales Tax and Services Bill 2015, Regularisation of TTC Industrial Employees Bill 2015 and Anti-Chalking Bill 2015.
He said that funds allocated for Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) have been utilised. He said that the Home Department gave briefing to the Cabinet that number of heinous crimes including kidnapping for ransom, targeted killings, sectarian violence, robberies and others have decreased by 70 percent and law and order situation has improved. He said that the cabinet appreciated the role of law enforcement agencies including police and Levies Force to curb crimes and to restore peace and order.
