With a view to discuss the initiatives to promote bilateral trade between Canada and Punjab, a high-level strategic meeting of representatives of Canada Pakistan Business Council (CPBC) and Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) held here on Saturday.
Notable participants of the meeting were President, Canada Pakistan Business Council, Samir Dossal, Director General Projects and Policy Research, PBIT Ms Lubna Pathan and Director Agriculture and Dairy, Suhail Saleem. According to the spokesperson of the PBIT it was decided that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed between CPBC and PBIT to strengthen and formalise the collaboration between the two sides.
