Futures spread up by 317 basis points

The futures spread rose by 317 basis points to reach 8.60 per cent during the outgoing week ended on December 5, 2014. During the last week, however, trading activity on the futures counter witnessed a declined trend and average daily volume down by 13.6 per cent to 31.97 million shares. Similarly, with a fall of 11 per cent, the average daily trading value stood at Rs 2.641 billion during the last week.
