Minister Excise and Taxation: Sindh government takes back portfolio from Chawla

The Sindh government has taken back the Excise and Taxation portfolio from provincial minister Mukesh Chawla, a notification issued here on Sunday said. According to sources, PPP leadership was not happy with the minister, therefore, the government took back the portfolio from Chawla.
The government issued the notification on Sunday, despite being an off day. Chawla was holding the Excise and Taxation portfolio for six years.
MPA Gian Chand has been appointed as new minister for Excise and Taxation and Chawla has been given the portfolio of Information Technology.
