Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) Punjab Parliamentary Party on Thursday has submitted a resolution over the Lahore incident in the Punjab Assembly Secretariat. The resolution says the House condemns in strong words the Model Town Lahore incident in which 12 people including two women lost their lives and dozens of innocent unarmed citizens were injured, extends heartfelt sympathy with the families of deceased and prays for early recovery of the injured.
The resolution further demands that FIR of murder should be registered against all those responsible for the firing on the Minhaj-ul-Quran Secretariat including the officials and officers who issued the orders and those playing that heinous game from behind the scene and also demanded that on committing criminal negligence regarding protection of life and property of the people, the Chief Minister and Law Minister should resign forthwith.
