A man axed his wife to death and injured a relative for honour and fled away here on Saturday. Police said accused Sajjad, hailing from Momanpura of Baghbanpura, Lahore, was suspicious about character of his wife Laiba, 32. The culprit attacked his wife and a close relative with axe when he saw them talking to each other. Laiba died on spot while Naeem sustained serious wounds and was shifted to hospital where according to hospital sources his condition is also critical.
