The Acting Chairman of ABAD Saleem Kassim Patel has expressed his grave concern over the deteriorating condition of law and order. He said that the condition of law and order is contradictory to the expectations. This is situation has very negatively affected the construction sector. It is imperative that Government should use the services of Rangers and Police leadership to entrap the criminal elements.
Saleem Kassim Patel made the statement this Friday while commenting on the current law and order situation of Karachi. He added the efforts of Rangers and Police had brought under control the menace of land grabbing and threats from the extortionist but suddenly the situation has changed and the criminal activities are on the rise once again.
Saleem Kassim Patel warned both Federal and Provincial Governments that more than 100 projects introduced by builders and developers will be jeopardised and would certainly be delayed. Acting Chairman ABAD Saleem Kassim Patel said ABAD International Expo 2014 will be held in August and emphasised on creating safe and secure conditions for the event. In order to attract foreign investors it is imperative that positive image of Karachi be enhanced and this will only be possible when law and order situation is improved. In order to promote the soft image of Karachi, revival of construction sector and to invite foreign investment ABAD is organising ABAD International Expo 2014 which will be attended by experts from the world over helping expose Pakistan to the latest technologies.-PR
