ISLAMABAD: General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) on Saturday categorically said Indian state will never be able to achieve her nefarious designs while adding that any misconception resulting in a misadventure will always be met with the full might of our armed forces backed by a resilient nation.

During his first visit to frontline troops in the Rakhchikri Sector of Line of Control (LOC) as COAS, he was briefed on the latest situation along LOC and the operational preparedness of the formation.

The COAS interacted with officers and soldiers; appreciated their high morale, professional competence, and combat readiness while performing their duties in challenging conditions.

President Arif Alvi approves Lt Gen Asim Munir's appointment as COAS

The COAS said that we have noticed highly irresponsible statements from Indian leadership on GB and AJK recently.

"Let me make it categorically clear, Pakistan’s armed forces are ever ready, not only to defend every inch of our motherland, but to take the fight back to the enemy, if ever, war is imposed on us, the COAS emphasized. Any misconception resulting in a misadventure will always be met with the full might of our armed forces backed by a resilient nation," the COAS said.

He added that the Indian state will never be able to achieve her nefarious designs.

"The world must ensure justice and deliver what is promised to the Kashmiri people as per UN resolutions," the COAS concluded.

Earlier, on arrival, Lieutenant General Shahid Imtiaz, Corps Commander Rawalpindi received the COAS.

Those who “to save humanity”, caused a genocide by leaking dozens of strains globally, leaving an ever-lasting psychological impact on millions of families. Those who went to wars without any plans except for logistics (after a careful analysis, they had everything figured out except for logistics). Those, whose understanding of human gender, human nature or in fact any word that comes out of any human’s mouth, is worse than circus animals. Those whose infrastructure is worse than Africa, live in the only place on the globe facing an opioid endemic, can’t control gun violence and can’t tell each other, forget others, where trillions went in past wars or why their weapons are going all over the world in this one. They, in spite of being a global embarrassment, dug deep into their behinds and pulled out the audacity to question people’s mental stability and if their decision-making is influenced by emotions. Are they morons or shameless? I say it’s a burger with fries type of combo deal.

I think Military should sign another treaty with India on the lines of Indus water treaty. Pakistan getting something in range of few billion INR for selling their land this time instead of water and outcome General getting richer.

We fall in the trap of responding to the provocative statements across the border. Instead of making it clear to India lets build our nation with energies we spent on meaningless exchanges.
