LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended date for payment and submission of sales tax and federal excise return for the tax period of July 2021.
An extension in the date has been made under section 74 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, and section 43 of the Federal Excise Act 2005.
The Board has extended the date of payment and submission of sales tax and federal excise return for the tax period of July 2021 to facilitate taxpayers amidst fourth wave of COVID-19. The date of payment sales tax and if which is due on 15th August 2021 has been extended up to 23rd of August 2021 whereas the date of submission of sales tax and federal excise return which is due on 18th August 2021 is hereby extended up to 24th August 2021.
