LAHORE: The Punjab government has specified Rs20,000 minimum rate per month of wages for unskilled adult and adolescent workers employed in all industrial and commercial establishments of the province.
According to a notification, copy available with Business Recorder, the step has been taken on the recommendations of Minimum Wages Board in line with the Minimum Wages Act, 2019.
