ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Finance Monday notified amendments to Financial Management and Powers of Principal Accounting Officers’ Regulations, 2021.
According to the notification in pursuance of Section 27 of the Public Finance Management Act, 2019 amendments have been made to Sr. No 24 and Sr. No 42 to the schedule of Financial Management and Powers of Principal Accounting Officers Regulations, 2021 vide notification dated 22-06-2021.
The notification further stated that in pursuance of section 27 of the Public Finance Management Act. 2019, the Finance Division directs that in the Financial Management and Powers of Principal Accounting Officers Regulations, 2021, the following amendments shall be made, namely: In the aforesaid Regulations, in the Schedule, in column (1),- (a) Against S No 24, in column (3), in clause (iii),- (i) In sub-clause (a), for the expression "500,000 (Rs Five Hundred Thousands)", the expression "1,500,000 (Rs One Million Five Hundred Thousands)" shall be substituted: and (ii) In sub-clause (b), for the expression "100.000 (Rs One Hundred Thousand)", the expression "1,000,000 (Rs One Million)" shall be substituted; and (b) Against S. No 42, for the existing entries in columns (2), (3), (4) and (5), the following shall be substituted, namely: Un-foreseen expenditure/others (General), full powers, Rs100,000 and Rs50,000.
