HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks recovered from early losses to extend a rally fuelled by optimism over the economic recovery, with traders also cheered by the possibility that the city's leaders will relax virus restrictions next week.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.48 percent, or 143.72 points, to 30,182.44.
