Members of the Hindu community held a protest on Friday in front of the Indian High Commission in Islamabad against the mysterious deaths of 11 Pakistani Hindus in Jodhpur, India.

Last month, the bodies of 11 members of a Pakistani Hindu migrant family were found in a field in India's Jodhpur district in Rajasthan state. Kewal Ram was the only surviving member of the family.

Chanting slogans against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the demonstrators said they will not leave until justice is served.

Ramesh Kumar, Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Hindu Council who led the protest demanded a transparent investigation and said that the post mortem results be shared with Pakistan. He said it has been over a month since the incident took place but they have not gotten any answers yet.

On Wednesday, Kumar met Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and informed him that the daughter of the deceased head of the family, Shrimati Mukhi had filed an FIR in Sanghar on the incident. He said the daughter has nominated RSS and BJP for involvement in the murder of her family members.

He also shared that according to Mukhi, her father, mother, and other family members were murdered after they refused to spy on Pakistan and issue anti-Pakistan statements.

Earlier in September, Pakistan had conveyed its concerns with the Indian chargé d'affaires and urged India to carry out a comprehensive investigation into the matter.

Pakistan also urged the Indian side to provide access to the Pakistan High Commission to the surviving member of the family.
