95% of stranded Pakistanis have been brought back within two and a half months

Parliamentary Secretary on Foreign Affairs Andleeb Abbas has said that around 95% of stranded overseas Pakistanis have been brought back in about two and a half months.

Addressing the National Assembly on Wednesday, Abbas said that about 250,000 stranded Pakistanis were repatriated from across the world. She further shared that majority of Pakistani Zaireen have also returned from Iran, while around 25 Zaireen are still living there, local media reported.

She said these remaining Zaireen are expected to return tomorrow via flight and Taftan Border. She said that the Pakistan Embassy in Tehran and Consulates in Mashhad and Zahidan are in constant touch with the Pakistani community to ensure their return to Pakistan.
