Sindh reports 551 new cases, 22 deaths

  • 1363 patients also recovered from the virus today.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced on Tuesday that the province reported 551 new infections and 22 deaths.

In his daily coronavirus update, the chief minister said in the last 24 hours, the province conducted 6676 tests. Out of these, 551 came out positive, he said. He continued that so far, Sindh has tested 656593 people for the infections, out of which 114104 people tested COVID-19 positive.

Shah further said that the province lost 22 more people to coronavirus in the last 24 hours. "Sindh has lost 2041 people to the novel coronavirus," he added. Today, the condition of 446 patients is critical, while 74 are on ventilator, he said.

Speaking about recoveries, the chief minister said 1363 more people have recovered taking the tally to 94297.
