Overnight star and the 'national crush' of India, Priya Varrier, has found trouble knocking at her doors in just a few days after taking over the internet after an FIR was lodged against her for allegedly hurting Muslims sentiments.

One small glimpse of Priya’s cute wink turned the normal Indian teenager into a full blown star after social media went crazy over her eyebrows magic trick, certifying her as India’s ‘national crush’. However, the young girl is in trouble as some Muslim youth has filed FIR against her and the makers of the song.

According to Pink Villa, a young man and his friends from Hyderabad, India has filed an FIR against Priya and the makers of the song ‘Manikya Malaraya Poovi’ from ‘Oru Adaar Love’ for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.  The man reportedly filed the complaint after translating Priya’s song and realized that it had lyrics about Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) in a derogatory way. The song was immediately imposed to have blasphemous material.

The ‘Manikya Malaraya Poovi’ song is composed by Thalassery K Refeeque and recreated by Shaan Rahman and its video involves two high school sweethearts wooing each other. Before all this bad news, Priya became the third Instagram celebrity to have gained the quickest followers.

I am very happy. Don’t know how to handle so much love. It’s completely surreal. I’m falling short of words trying to express myself. Never expected this,” Priya said while talking about getting famous overnight.

Your so called Nagavalli💫
