ISTANBUL: Turkish primary dealers borrowed 13.568 billion lira ($7.25 billion) from the central bank's repo facility on Friday.
The Turkish central bank announced at its monthly policy meeting on Oct. 20, the interest rate on borrowing facilities provided for primary dealers via repo transactions was increased to 12 percent from 8 percent.
