GTA VI expected to arrive soon?

After Grand Theft Auto V, GTA fans are eagerly waiting for the next GTA game: Grand Theft Auto VI. However, there is still no confirmed news other than rumors.

A few days ago news broke when a stunt actor Tim Neff listed a credit for GTA VI motion capture work online. It was later revealed that the news was totally fake for which Niff apologized for the confusion created. “That isn't my page, account or resume. I don't even know that website. I worked on GTA V a long time ago and haven't done anything since. Sorry for the confusion. It seems I'm being trolled online really badly.”

Unfortunately, the game developer ‘Rockstar Games’ has yet not given any probable release date of the next version of the action-adventure video game.

Play Station Universe stated, the-then Rockstar president Leslie Benzies said before the launch of GTA V, “We want it to grow into its own world. We want it to be its own master. We can bolt things and add things and change things in the online world – because it's separate – that we maybe couldn't have done if it was tied in more closely with the single-player. It gives us freedom to do what we want to do. We have a lot of plans for it in the future, and this breaks it off so we can take it anywhere.”

Keeping in view the previous duration between the series of the game that was four to five years, it was contemplated that the new version of the game would possibly get released by 2020 as GTA V was launched back in 2013. However, new reports hint that the game can take as long as 2024 to arrive, reports Blasting News.

An analyst with Wedbush Security Micheal Pachter is of the view that the game will launch in 2024 because the manufacturers will probably implement the most advanced technology of virtual reality which will take time, according to The Christian Post.

The delay in the game could possibly be due to ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ that is under development and is supposed to be released by next year by the manufacturer Rockstar Games.

However, GTA V is still alive and played widely, especially after its online variant. GTA V Online still brings about new updates weekly and is expected to grow massively. Till then, fans would have to wait until Rockstar Games provide any confirmed details about the new version of Grand Theft Auto.
