The Pakistan army on Monday, thanked football legend Ronaldinho and the group of international football stars who accompanied the Brazilian for visiting Pakistan to take part in exhibition matches.

DG Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghaffor, thanked the visitors for showing the world that Pakistan is a peaceful country.

“Thank you @10Ronaldinho and your fellow players for visiting Pakistan and letting world know that Pakistan is peaceful & loving. Tchau!” said Ghaffor, in a message on Twitter.

Following his departure from the country, the 37-year-old World Cup hero thanked Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa in a message on social media, “Pakistan is peaceful & loving. Thanks #PakArmyChief Thanks #Pakistan See you again... @OfficialDGISPR @LeisureLeaguePK @wgtrunkwala1912.”
