WATCH! ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ hails Ryan Giggs
Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs have urged foreign players to visit Pakistan, as the Welsh football coach bid adieu to what it has been an historic visit to Pakistan.
“Pakistan is a safe and peaceful country and foreign players should come here to play,” said Ryan Giggs at a media briefing.
“From the outside, we have only knew about Pakistan through cricket, but now we know that football is huge here, especially with the younger generations.”
Giggs was joined by Brazilian World Cup hero Ronaldinho, former French players Robert Pires and Nicolas Anelka, former England goalkeeper David James, Dutch star George Boateng, and Portuguese player Luis Boa Morte were also present on the occasion.
Giggs said there is an immense talent of soccer in Pakistan.
“So my message around the world is that Pakistan is a good place to come, with a love for football Pakistan Zindabad!”
