RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 46319.00 with a position change of 844.54 and volume of 114,020,330 shares.

High and Low were 46344.53 and 45474.46 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 192,294,900 shares with 342 total traded companies out of which 254 were up, 77 were down and 11 were unchanged.

POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 57,075,200 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 29,093,400 shares.

The two top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 54,715,000 and price per share of 7.20 (0.35), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 9,759,500 of price per share of 43.00 (0.28) and Engro Polymer with a volume 8,373,000 of price per share of 40.66 (1.93).

The top three advancers were Millat Tractors with price per share 1402.84 (66.80), Hinopak MotorXD with price per share of 1385.00 (63.75) and Wyeth Pak Ltd share of 2090.00 (51.25).

The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 6850.00 (250.00), Abbott Lab. with price per share of 880.00 (33.82) and Jubile Life Ins per share of 800.00 (20.00).
