HOUSTON: Exxon Mobil Corp's 502,500 barrel per day (bpd) Baton Rouge, Louisiana, refinery was ramping up production on its second largest crude distillation unit after restarting on Monday, sources familiar with plant operations said on Tuesday.
The 110,000 bpd PSLA-9 CDU was shut April 24 for a planned overhaul that included cleaning heater tubes on the unit. The work was originally scheduled to wrap up around May 7, but was extended for a week.
