The University of Health Sciences (UHS) is planning to hold a series of online lectures by noted scholars from around the world between January 23-31. The first lecture of the series on "how to explain depressive disorders" by Professor Serge Brand of the Psychiatric University of Switzerland has been scheduled for January 23.
The second lecture on "social aspects of tobacco smoking" by Professor Eileen Clark of the La Trobe University, Australia will be online on January 30 while the third lecture, "why we fall in love" by Professor Serge Brand will be put on the network on January 31. These lectures will be supported by the video conferencing facility of the Higher Education Commission. Meanwhile, the UHS sources said that the sessions are open to the academic community free of cost.
