The Jagran Powerhouse Azad Kashmir has been closed on emergency basis on Thursday for repair works. Due to closure of Jagran powerhouse, Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) is facing 20 to 40MW shortfall of electricity in District Abbotabad, Mansehra, Batgram, Bisham and other Parts of Azad Kashmir.
Additional load management for short intervals will be carried out in Abbotabad, Mansehra, Batgram, Bisham and Azad Kashmir. All efforts are being made to complete repair work at the earliest but in due course of time the consumers of the affected areas are requested to cooperate with the company.
