Several projects were under execution to make Gwadar a modern "Port and Sports City" by the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA). This was stated by Balochistan Governor Owais Ahmad Ghani while talking to US Ambassador to Pakistan Ryan C Crocker who called on him here on Thursday.
Balochistan's development and other matters of mutual interest came under discussion at their meeting. Governor said that with the construction of Coastal Highway, a change has taken place in the life of people of Makran because distance between Gwadar and Karachi has been reduced just eight hours.
