The Defence Housing Authority and Habib Rafiq Limited (HRL) have signed an agreement for developing Defence Housing Scheme, Phase I extension. The agreement was signed by Brigadier Ghafoor, Administrator DHA and Zahid Rafiq, Director HRL, here on Thursday.
Under the agreement, Habib Rafiq Limited has been awarded Rs 2.5 billion contract for development of the Defence Housing Scheme, Phase I extension on 826 acres of land.
After the signing ceremony, Brigadier Ghafoor told reporters that HRL would develop the phase as per international standards. He said that the company would also develop a standardised road network, underground electricity network, sewerage and drainage system, play grounds and parks.
He told reporters that the HRL would complete the development work within the stipulated time of 3 to 4 years and after that it would be open for construction of houses.
