Member National Assembly (MNA) belonging to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Jalil Ahmad Sharaqpuri has joined the ruling PML and expressed his full confidence in the leadership of PML President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and the Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
Mian Jalil called on Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi here on Monday in the presence of Senator Naeem Hussain Chattha, MNAs Brigadier Zulfiqar Ahmad Dhilon (Retd), Saeed Ahmad Virk, MPAs Abid Hussain Chattha, Ejaz Rasool, Ali Abbas Gul Agha and Khalid Mehmood.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi welcomed the decision of Mian Jalil Ahmad Sharaqpuri to join the PML and said it would strengthen the party. He said Mian Jalil Ahmad Sharaqpuri would have complete support of the PML in local body elections as candidate for District Nazim Sheikhupura. "The joining of the PML by Mian Jalil Ahmad Sharaqpuri was a big political achievement of the party and expressed hope he would play an active role for the consolidation of the party. Mian Jalil was fully capable to lead the people of the district," he added.
Mian Jalil appreciated the efforts of Punjab Chief Minister for effective implementation of the reform process in the province.
