The Sui Southern Gas Company's (SSGC) new bills, no doubt, reflect a Technicolor proforma, replacing its old style since a few months ago. However, the left front portion of the bill reflects a broad belt of advertising signs of KFC while its back portion also shows advertisements of KFC and a few textile companies from top to bottom on 'customer-copy', leaving a small counter leaf for SSGC record purpose.
It is interesting that on a SSGC bill, the pictures, numerics and wordings of other advertisements are printed in broad-size than the SSGC information. These merits attract the publications of KFC and Textile Co more than 'SSGC Bill', perhaps sponsored by said companies at free of cost to SSGC. A wide space of gas bill is covered by uncalled-for advertisements.
There are a few more demerits of the new SSGC bill, such as detailed information about SSGC for consumer guidance printed on its back portion are reduced in comparison to old proforma. For advance payers of bills under advance payment scheme (APS) of SSGC, it has neither any line nor shows applicable discount given in monthly bills against advance payment.
Its column of the 'consumption history' does not reflect the 'amount of bill' corresponding to month/cubic meters. The column of 'payments history' can either reflect 'advance payments' or 'monthly payment' but in case of (advance payer's) one of the said two information's remain missing on the bill.
The two lines reading 'previous balance' and 'balance brought forward' (for advance payers) do not reflect the sign of credit (-), besides the amount, as per universal standard.
SSGC is considered to be a big reputable company and should not compromise on its fame and market reputation. Therefore, MD-SSGC is requested to revise the proforma of the new SSGC bill reflecting all mandatory and important information's in an impressive look of more SSGC bill than dominated by advertisements at the cost of SSGC.
