Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah, Deputy Amir and Crown Prince of Kuwait, has sent a message to President General Pervez Musharraf, expressing his profound grief over the tragic Ghotki train accident. The Crown Prince offered deep condolences and sincere sympathies to the bereaved families of the victims.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy upon the victims and bless the injured and victims with fast recovery. President Pesdro Pires of Cape Verde has also expressed condolences over the incident in a message addressed to President Musharraf.
President Pires said he was deeply saddened by the news of the tragic accident that caused the loss of so many lives, suffering and material damage. "In this moment of sorrow, the people of Cape Verde joins me to convey our heartfelt condolences and solidarity to your excellency and to the friendly people of Pakistan, particularly the families directly involved in this tragedy," he added.
